As I finish up my feature, I am tying everything together. It’s really cool how it’s all working out. When I mesh the stories in the second draft, dialogue will change a bit to make it seamless. There are 42 different parts in my feature and that does not include the extras. There are 11 leads, though Opal is truly the star we follow throughout. This story is constantly moving, and I’ve enjoyed writing it. I can’t wait to cast it, secure the locations, and get all the other preproduction stuff out of the way, so I can get to my favorite part which is production. It’s going to be five weeks of go, go, go, and depending on the schedule, Brad may still be on Cosmos. He will play a part in everything else from pre-production to post. There is a lot of planning to do, and I want to move on this feature as soon as we are ready to go.
