There is something to be said for taking a break. It doesn’t happen much in this household because I’m a mother of twins who works constantly on our multiple film and television projects in development. When I do take a breather, ideas start to flow and damn good ones. I had a recent idea for a feature that would utilize my news background and several of my news friends as cast members. I started writing it last night after doing a quick breakdown, and I like the direction it’s taking. It reminds me of the first season of “The Killing” in some aspects. It definitely has some major potential. Even during the holidays, late work nights do not stop, but a good script is worth it.
