Upcoming Feature…
All the features I am currently writing are going to need investors to produce with the budget of $100,000 on the low end and nearly $1 million on the high end. The trilogy would take $30 million if not more for part two since it’s has huge viking battle scenes, lots of effects, gore and period costumes.
I’m ready to make a feature now, and I had a brilliant idea last night…the kind that keeps you up at night. Now I’ve been going all day on one hour of sleep, and Brad has been writing me about how good the idea is, which makes me realize I am on to something here that could be really cool. It’s such a fun idea! It’s a feature we could make relatively soon with a small budget. Our biggest expense would be renting a house big enough to house that cast and crew for two weeks, insurance and a few more GoPros. I’m not going to reveal much about the story right now only to say I may be spending Christmas or Valentine’s (depending on how soon we can get this going) on our first feature film.
As for Playground, Brad will most likely cut it in Premiere since it has a better work flow with the Epic footage. It’s something I want to push out fast because the effects will give us a good insight on what we can do with our upcoming feature.
