Two Feature Scripts…

My two feature scripts are moving forward at a nice pace. Reed is completely outlined, and the bones of the script are strong. I’m halfway through with writing the script and it’s going to be a long one. Love Me is the romantic comedy that’s inspired by true events. It has a lot of side characters too that add to the hilarious situations. Both scripts are very different from each other, and yet I can jump back and forth between them depending on my mood.

I also wrote a short today that takes place on January 12th, 1952 in Bloomington, Indiana. It’s a sad love story. When an idea pops into my head, I usually just write it down with the rest of them, but occasionally one is so strong, I just have to write the script then and now. That’s how this one came about. If I find a location, it wouldn’t be too difficult to set a 1950s look with costumes and some post paint-out work if need be.

As of now, I have a huge stack of shorts and series that are ready to go, but the features are taking precedence. Shooting a strong sizzle reel could get us our budget for both features, and Brad’s Sci-fi Series as well. I’ve been editing that on the side and rewriting my serial killer series too. There are so many projects in development and that’s a really good thing!
