Last night Brad polished the cut of Playground. We are tweaking the edit and putting in temp music for now. I spent my night tweaking Pieces in Bloom. A script is like an edited sequence in that you can keep tinkering with different parts, changing dialogue, adding more action, etc… until it feels right. My nights have been long as I work on the script which leaves little time for anything else, even sleep. It’s a necessity to use every moment I can to push this project forward which means everything else ends up taking a back seat, even the holidays. My goal is to get our Christmas picture shot this weekend and get the cards out this week. It’s something I do every year usually around Thanksgiving, but this feature is time consuming. Like a baby, it always needs more attention to grow. I am happy with the direction I chose to go, making it five stories that could stand alone. This will ensure that we can make the film in parts if need be.
