Looking through my list of ideas, there are quite a few features and series that really stand out as winners. I’m so excited to jump on these and write. This is the true test of whether an idea can turn into something worth shooting. I have such a big list of scripts written and ready to shoot, but I don’t want to rush into shooting something unless it has a future as a series or feature. Some of my features are just not going to fly because they have such a large budget, and we’ve already done so many short films. I’m still open to doing more when I write a really good one because for nothing else, it’s fun and good practice. Features are my main focus. The saying ‘slow and steady wins the race’ is very true in my eyes. Brad and I both have different projects we’re working on, and we share ideas and work on each others scripts too. We always have our heads in our laptops, writing and planning. It all starts with an idea, and then it ends up being something real.
