We start shooting Catharsis tomorrow morning, and plan to wrap on Tuesday. This will be our first short on our Blackmagic 4K camera, and I am eager to get into production with the new gear. I can’t wait to share the results with everyone too.  We will be color correcting it on Resolve which is the pro software that comes with camera.  As the Blackmagic 4K is completely new to the market, I am interested in seeing how it reacts in all lighting situations. All of these new tools are giving us a lot of freedom to shoot an extremely high quality image with little to no crew. It doesn’t take much to make something that looks pretty incredible, especially for those who grew up in the post world. These are very exciting times for Indie filmmakers!
