We are gearing up to shoot Catharsis early next week. I’m very excited to be using our new gear on this shoot. We’ve been doing daily test shoots, and I love the result. The 4K image is gorgeous!

I am diving into a ton of prep work. There are lines to memorize, crew to book, and locations to get ready. I’ve also been scoping out locations for The One. I found this gorgeous spot today that looks like it could work. Brad will be looking into a spot to shoot Watching as well. At the same time, we’re dealing with the aftermath of the fire which has us juggling three homes. Also, the show I’m working on  starts tomorrow, so my time is going to be booked up.

Lone Viking is in Brad’s hands to read and give feedback, and then it is off to get feedback from a studio exec. I really love this feature because it makes me laugh so much and leaves me feeling warm hearted. I’m very serious about making it. I plan to shoot some preliminary scenes, so I can cut together a trailer which I’ve already written. The trailer alone is hilarious! I will need to get a costume designer involved, so I can get the look I want for the Viking. I already have some people in mind for parts, some I’ve worked with before, others I’ve wanted to work with for some time. I will definitely be holding auditions. Once I have the film cast and the trailer built, I’ll start a fundraising campaign.
