Screenwriting…

As we compiled the data from out taxes over this past year, we discovered that the WGA made quite a killing from our production company alone. I registered 30 scripts this past year. They were features, shorts, pilots, and treatments of shows I’ve developed. It’s a long list of content archived for future use. As for shooting some of the shorts immediately, it seems my plans have been waylaid by the universe. The boy who was going to star in my Memorial short just snatched a role in a feature. It’s a trend I’m noticing lately as I cast projects, which makes me more focused on completing the three features I’m working on now. One at a time, I’m knocking them out and having fun writing them too. Though I am very tempted to shoot a short because I miss being in production, I am directing my focus to my features.
