The rough cut of Harley is complete, and it looks really good. All the little changes I wanted to make in post came off seamlessly in the cut. There’s still b-roll to shoot for the transitions, and the credits to design, which I will do in Motion. There’s also lots of sound work to do and refinement. Once we finish tweaking the cut and lock it, I can move on to scoring. Since it’s a drama, I am going for music that stands out. I’ll use some of what I used in the preview, which is free use material, and I’ll look to other sites as well. There are some great resources out there for music, plus we know some really talented composers. I want the music to accompany the performances which are very moving.

Then it’s off to color correcting, and I plan to do that in AVID since our colorspace during production was already beautiful. I have all the tools at my disposal to make Harley look incredible.
