As I have so many features I have written over the past year and a half, I’ve been going through and revising them, so I can enter them in festivals and also see which ones can be shot for an affordable budget. Some have product placement naturally written in. Finding a sponsor will be my next step, after working out the budget. I may also go the fundraising route of Kickstarter or Indiegogo. Most of the ones I see shooting are thrillers.  Brad knows so much about effects that even with car explosions, it’s doable in post. It’s exciting to know we can achieve amazing feats with his knowledge and a rather small budget for an indie film.

Times are certainly changing for filmmakers and so is distribution, which is helping to even the playing field. The future of filmmaking is going to change drastically as the YouTube generation grows up.  I can’t wait to be a part of it!
