The setting of the lobby at the Roosevelt Hotel Hollywood was a perfect choice for Rehearsals. It’s old world architecture put everyone in the mood, and all the actors did incredible. Josh and Amber have a great chemistry together, and I can’t wait to capture it all on camera. Gabriella is perfect as Antonia. My acting choices will make these scenes come to life because the talent brings so much authentic energy to their characters.

Everyone tried on their costumes. My guesses for Gabriella’s fit were right on the mark, so now I can finish her costume. Josh is really healthy, so his costume was a little big since it only came in the “one size fits all” category. We’ll have to pin it in places, but it will work. Amber’s costume fit as if it was made for her, which is a good sign.

After rehearsals, I met with Infinite Sound. Their offices are close to the hotel, and I really like their set up. They do production and post, which I find reassuring. As someone who does both as well, I know how beneficial it is to go into production with a post mind set. This weekend I am going to check out the location to make sure we are ready to go on production day next week.
