As I cut the last shot into the timeline of Justine & Barry, I smiled. It was a great moment. Yes, it’s just the rough cut and there is still a long way to go before it’s ready to submit to festivals, but we have a completed first cut. It’s exciting to see! It’s now off to Brad to do a second cut. Then we’ll tighten, add music, credits, sound mix, color correcting, etc…

In the meantime, I shot a new web series today called Simply Light with Bea Schreiber. Sometimes when I make recipes, I talk to out loud as if I’m hosting a show, so why not film it and share it with the world…or the web anyway. ;o) It was just me with the camera which took lots of set up time and test shots to do with no crew, but it looks beautiful!

In the premiere episode, I make White Bean Hummus which is one of my favs, healthy, completely divine, and so yummy I just had to share! The footage is going into the AVID now, and then it’s off to post. Hopefully, it will premiere next week. These are a few stills from the shoot today…
