Brad is writing a pilot now that is incredibly interesting. It’s like Oz meets the Sopranos. As soon as he pitched the idea to me, I knew it was a winner. He can’t stop writing, and I’m excited to read and edit the first draft. He plans to work out the show bible after that and shoot/edit a proof of concept reel. Brad’s watched and worked on several shows and has a natural talent for writing episodic that I find incredible. The first two spec scripts he ever wrote, won contests because they were so good. Oddly enough Nip/Tuck and Smallville both had similar episodes that aired a few years later. He’s fit all this writing in over the weekend even while dealing with the aftermath of the fire. We also had an Easter do-over because he was horribly sick that day and missed it.  He also has Tested in his hands, and I can’t wait to see what he does with it.
