I did a rewrite pass on the first 45 pages of Pieces in Bloom today. I am crazy about my characters and their stories! The first couple is Hudson and Chelsea who meet at a business conference and find themselves completely fascinated with each other. A misunderstanding puts them at odds leading to a dramatic end. The next story is about Danny and Colt, best friends who end up living a nightmare on Valentine’s Day. This experience brings them together in a fight for revenge. They are swept up in a roller coaster of emotions that takes them past friendship to explore the love they feel for one another in a whole new way. Both stories have a steady build, and you root for the characters to get together which makes it a real treat to read. I can’t wait to watch it come to life!
