Today I took Pieces in Bloom and meshed it together, mixing the five stories like an omelette. It now needs a good rewrite to make everything come together seamlessly. I may decide to keep it as five back to back stories in the same city because the stories as they stand now are very strong. I’m in my writer’s bubble which means the days are passing quick. I’m so involved with my characters and their stories that I have little time for anything else. As I go on the journey with my characters, I am swept up in their obstacles and my goal is to make the viewer go on that same ride with me. It takes a precise needle to thread everything to the point where it passes my diligent and critical eye. As my first feature, it must be perfect.
