Holiday Horror…

I wrote another short today that I just had to get out called Holiday Horror. It’s creepy! I’m not sure if I’ll make this one cause it’s super dark and twisted. It’s more fitting for Halloween. Now, I’m in the mood for something lighter. Funny how that works. So I hope to shoot a quick spot this week whilst I juggle my feature and a few dozen other things.

Last night was an all nighter, since I had a gig this morning that started very early. It was one of those nights where I couldn’t relax because my mind was on fire! I had so many ideas, I finally gave up on sleep and sat with my computer to write them all down. My list of ideas grows so long, if I write the rest of my life, I still wouldn’t be able to get it all down. Plus there are more that come daily. It’s incredible how much my writing is improving especially in terms of writing twists that are completely off the cuff. They end up making the story more dynamic, unpredictable, and unique. My goal is to read a lot over this Christmas break because reading sparks the imagination, helps your vocabulary and improves your writing skills tremendously. Currently, I am reading 1984. Next I have Water for Elephants. I’m also reading Producer to Producer, and will be starting Jen Grisanti’s TV WRITING TOOL KIT: HOW TO WRITE A SCRIPT THAT SELLS.
