Playground’s temp score is in place, and it’s amazing! Brad worked on it this weekend and finessed the cut, scoring it to some great beats. When Isabella throws out her energy blasts, the sound effects are so real. It’s truly remarkable that this whole thing was crafted in five days from the time we started writing to the time we wrapped production. It looks unbelievable, and I can only imagine what its going to look like when Brad puts the effects he’s designed in the shots. I know it’s going to be really spectacular!

I also wrote a quick short today called “Cruelty” that is a real mind zinger. I love it and plan to shoot it soon. Production will take two days and since there are no special effects, the post won’t take long. I’m also reworking Pieces in Bloom to bring the budget down. Shooting Cruelty will be a good test to see how production goes without Brad since he has a prior commitment on Cosmos. I’ll need an AC, gaffer and sound, plus makeup. The cast for Cruelty is five people, and I will play the psychiatrist.
