Episode 2 of Cole Maddux is going well. It’s halfway done, and the story is starting to write itself. There is lots of ground to cover with the characters and the events that turn their live’s inside out. I’ve introduced the character Jay Lee Warren which will be played by yours truly. She’s the hard nose boss who takes care of her team and sets them on the right track to win their cases. I’m enjoying the writing process more than ever because the cast is in my head as I write. There are still a few characters left to cast. Max is a challenging role for a child actor, and I have yet to find the one to fill his shoes. I am also searching for Anthony Hutton who plays the big bad. I will likely be back in the casting room next week to fill these two spots.

At the same time, we’ve had an enormous response as we search for our Line Producer on Lone Viking. I’ve picked my favorites and will be interviewing them this week. Brad is a week away from finishing The Sphere. He is completing the sound design, tweaking picture and adding the final touches to make it sing. He’s also stepped in as cowriter on Cole Maddux. It’s great to have a writing partner on this project. Currently, he is working on episode 1 as I write episode 2.
