It takes a ton of work to bake out one special effect. Brad is a master at it, and he’s been completing two of our shorts that are special effects heavy. One is The Sphere. Here are two of the latest special effects shots from the film.

I’ve been spending most of my time writing and planning. I’ve written several shorts in the last few days and really want to make them. With our new gear, I know they’ll look good. Plus, the only way to feel like your camera is an extension of you, is to use it often. The Blackmagic is user friendly, and I can’t wait to shoot with it again on one of my projects.  I wrote shorts with locations in mind that would be easy to obtain. One of my shorts is about two sisters who are always competing, even when it comes to the men they date. It’s seven pages and very funny.

The next short is about two private eyes, Cole and Julia, who have a tumultuous relationship that ranges from beating each other up with their martial arts expertise to having wild sex while a man lies dead in their hotel room. This is one I can’t wait to shoot cause it’s so killer.
