We’ve had such an enormous response from composers for Playground, and it’s going to take a while to sort through all the candidates. I spent some time refining scenes and cutting today. The film is complete and looks good. We need to add transitional elements and do sound work as well as all the effects, color correcting and the titles, and then it will be complete. All the green screen work we did in production will definitely help us with inserting the special effects. It’s amazing how some simple tricks can make post go smoothly.

The feature I am currently writing is what is next on our docket to shoot. We also have a sizzle reel in the works for the Sci-Fi series Brad has been writing. It will be like a proof of concept reel that will include pick up shots to round out the pitch. I am really excited about this series as I love science fiction. Star Trek is by far one of the coolest shows ever! My favorite of the series was Deep Space 9.

Last night, we came up with another feature that I think is brilliant. It would have huge mass appeal and is extremely low budget. We’ll be jumping on this one sometime next year. I love when light bulb moments occur, and they happen often when you’re inspired by reading, writing, and watching films. Tonight we are watching a classic, Braveheart.
