I’m at the tail end of writing my feature. Opal’s story is the one I’ve been looking forward to writing most. I already have the actor in mind for Dane just from seeing his reel online. He’s talented and gorgeous. I’m writing the part with him in mind. Things could change if we go SAG, but I really like his look for the famous singer. After I finish, I’ll do a quick second draft before starting my budget sheets and schedule. This script will be about 111 pages, and it has several actors and locations. It’s going to be a five week shoot with a plan to shoot 5 pages a day, so we can get tons of coverage. The schedule will depend on casting and securing locations, and I am very eager to get to production. I adore these characters and their stories.
