Every night is a late night, and it’s worth it because the script looks really good. It’s 115 pages as of now. I’ll go through it again in the morning and see if there is anything I can chop out. Then I’ll pass it off to others for feedback as I start budgeting and working on character descriptions. I’ve already begun because there are so many characters and they all have their own backstories and lives to consider. I love this entire process, from pre-production to post. There are so many steps, but each one has something in it that I find very satisfying. This being a feature, it’s taking quite a bit longer to complete than a short, but at the same time, it’s going fast for a feature because I’ve been writing for so long now that my speed is heightened. It’s pretty incredible to see how it’s all turning out.
