I designed a quick poster for Playground. We will want to design a second one as we get closer to completion.

The footage for Playground is going to take a few days to get into the AVID. It’s the only drawback to shooting on the Epic. If we were to edit in Premiere, we could start now, but nothing compares to AVID. I still find it hard to believe that this time last week Playground wasn’t even on our radar. It just shows that you never know what ideas are going to pop up and take off.

Last night I stayed up late writing. I’m back to my challenging script where things take a some twists and there is misdirection. It’s like a puzzle. I would say the story is American Pie meets Usual Suspects with a splash of Fight Club. It’s going to be a cast of men and women in college who get sucked into a scheme that goes bad. It’s a really fun one to write. There’s violence, sex, nudity, laughs, drama, and love. It has it all. I thought I may just shoot it as a weekly web series for fun, but it’s getting really long with several locations, so I’m just going to see where it takes me. Talking to the characters and creating their personalities is the delicious part for me.
