I hadn’t sewn anything significant since I was a girl scout, but it all came back to me. It was fun to add the little golden detailing. It makes such a difference!

Antonia’s costume had this sheer sparkling embellishment that just had to go. I’m adding a brown swath of fabric to make it look authentic and I’ve sewn most of it but need to fit it to her today. I will pin it to make sure it fits right before I complete it. As for Nero’s costume, he doesn’t need any embellishments. It looks good as is, but we may need to do some pinning in places so it will fit right.
