I am currently editing together Sisters on Premiere Pro using my LaCie Rugged 1TB drive and my laptop. As I was syncing up all the footage, I took a few snap shots of the actors that made me smile. These first shots are of Troy Akin and Amanda Harris. To save time on set, we abandoned our slate and had the actors clap to sync sound and picture. This kept us burning through the pages, and we shot the entire script on one camera in eight hours.  Amanda and Troy decided to high five as the slate. It was hilarious, and I’m tempted to throw together a behind the scenes reel of everyone clapping for slate because it’s really funny.

We had a wonderful time shooting Sisters. It was a smooth shoot and went by real quick. The following shot is Cole Stroud and Laura Hall for the first scene of the day. I love the chemistry between the characters.

The next shot is my favorite because we were not even shooting the scene yet. I just started filming as I framed up the shot, and the actors decided to rehearse. This is Troy Akin and Laura Hall during rehearsals.

After seeing that tender look, I had them repeat it for the official take…but guess who is using the rehearsal? ;o)
